Mastertone

Since the summer of 1978 I am the lead guitarist of the Scorpions. Within the last 30 years + I have recorded many succesful albums and CD`s. How many concerts I have played with the Scorpions since 1978, I can only guess, but there will be at least 3000.

The experiences from those tours and recordings are very valuable. People have always told me,  that I have a great guitar sound and I have been happy with it, but still never stopped trying to improve it.

Two years ago I decided to develop my own amplifier. This amp is designed to fulfill my high expectations in the studio as well as on tour.  Harmonic distortion with the drive channel and a harmonic pure sound with the clean channel. Effective  adjustment of all frequencies. The amp should not be complicated, rather robust and reliable. As little knobs as possible. Dynamics are highly important for my amplifier.

I made sure that you can use the Mastertone amp with the drive channel and reach a clean sound with a slight crunch by simply turning down the volume on your guitar.
