The AKG D5 is a dynamic vocal microphone for singers and presenters. Its supercardioid polar pattern makes it insensitive to feedback. Even on loud stages, you hear only what you want to hear. Thanks to a slight frequency boost in the mid and treble range, the voice is reproduced clearly and powerfully. A unique feature is AKG's patented Varimotion diaphragm. It ensures a balanced sound and excellent speech intelligibility. Unlike normal microphones, the diaphragm has different thicknesses. The thicker center allows the microphone to tolerate very high sound pressure. The thin edge of the diaphragm, on the other hand, produces powerful bass. Vocals and speech thus assert themselves optimally even in a dense mix. Hand and cable noise are effectively prevented by the elastic capsule holder.To prevent annoying popping and breathing noises, a windscreen is integrated into the microphone basket of the AKG D5. The microphone's housing is made of metal and has a scratch-resistant paint finish. This makes it very resistant and robust.A microphone holder is included.
