The IDX:50 and IDX:100 amplifiers are BLACKSTAR’s latest high-performance digital combos. They were designed to deliver exceptional tones and versatility in a compact format. The IDX combos offer the familiar, intuitive controls of a traditional amplifier while being significantly more flexible due to their programmability.
Using the Voice control, six different amp sounds can be selected: Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, OD 1, and OD 2. Combined with BLACKSTAR’s patented ISF control, a wide range of tones can be achieved, from American to British voicings and everything in between.
In addition, the amplifiers feature a Response function, allowing selection of different tube emulations. An integrated display provides intuitive navigation and full on-board editing of effects.
The effects section includes more than 35 pre-FX, modulation, reverb, and delay effects, all selectable and editable directly on the amplifier. Overall, the IDX series offers an extensive tonal palette for guitarists of all levels thanks to its advanced technology.
