With the Gold Series, Cort introduces a premium range of all-solid acoustic guitars featuring thermally treated (“torrefied”) tops and bracing. Cort refers to this process as “Aged To Vintage,” a treatment that recreates the natural aging process of a guitar top over several decades. The result is a rich, warm, overtone-rich, and balanced tone that closely resembles well-aged, professionally broken-in instruments right from the start.

The extremely thin UV finish of the Gold Series further enhances the guitar’s excellent resonance and vibration characteristics. In addition, Cort developed the innovative “Double Lock Neck Joint,” which adds a secondary screw reinforcement to the glued neck joint, improving resonance transfer and overall sound performance.
