Epiphone has teamed up with the Gibson™ Custom Shop to impressively recreate the 1958 Korina Explorer™, one of the most famous and valuable vintage guitars of all time. It offers guitarists around the world authentic details of the original 1958 Explorer - at an unbeatable price. Like the extremely rare Gibson original models from 1958, it features a solid Korina body and a Korina neck with a long tenon and 1958 Explorer neck profile. It also features an Indian Laurel fingerboard and gold hardware. The premium electronics consist of Gibson Burstbucker™ 2 and Burstbucker 3 pickups, each wired with its own volume control as well as a master tone control with CTS® pots and a Mallory™ capacitor, plus a Switchcraft® 3-way pickup switch and 1/4” output jack. The back of the headstock is adorned with the Epiphone x Gibson Custom logo, and a hardshell case is also included.
