A “blackout” version (all black) of the classic Dirty Fingers™ humbucker, featuring black double coils, black screws, and a matte black Dirty Fingers logo. The Dirty Fingers Onyx is a faithful recreation of the famous super-hot humbucker introduced by Gibson in the 1970s. It is equipped with three powerful ceramic magnets that deliver massive output without compromising the original tone of your guitar.
The overwound yet balanced coils feature adjustable pole pieces, allowing you to fine-tune the output of each individual string. The Dirty Fingers Onyx also includes shielded four-conductor wiring for series, parallel, or coil-split operation and is fully wax-potted to eliminate any chance of microphonic feedback. Short baseplate legs make installation easy in most guitars designed for humbucker pickups.
Whether you’re playing heavy rhythm parts in drop tuning or scorching leads that cut through any mix, the Gibson Dirty Fingers Onyx pickup not only looks incredible but pushes your sound right to the front where it belongs.
