At that time there were three "Club" models, the Club 40 (1 pickup and "modest" woods) and the Club 50 (2 pickups and the same woods as the 40), but the top model and the most sought-after model was the Club 60, a model with two "Black Bar" pickups, made of beautiful woods (including a flamed maple back) and an ebony fingerboard with "split-diamond" inlays.
Production of the Club 40, 50 and 60 was discontinued in 1962.
This Club 60 is in a very good structural and visual condition and has a beautiful natural finish.
A Hofner of legendary lightness (as it is hollow), which despite its small size produces very woody sounds with great depth.
