Micro Headstock Tuner

Developed in collaboration with Ned Steinberger, the compact, lightweight and easy-to-use D'Addario Micro Headstock Tuner is ideal for accurately tuning stringed instruments of all kinds. The highly sensitive piezo pickup and the illuminated display ensure easy and precise tuning even in ambient noise or in poorly lit rooms. Due to the compact design, the tuner, mounted under the headstock, is almost invisible to the audience and even fits into (almost) every suitcase without having to take it off. With the 360° swivel mechanism and the adjustable clamp, the NS Micro offers an optimal viewing angle due to the flexibility in positioning. Not only does the NS Micro feel at home on left- or right-handed instruments (with small or large headstocks), it is also the right choice for a wide range of instruments, from 5-string basses to ukuleles. The NS Micro has an easy-to-read, colour-changing backlit display that is easy to read on dark stages as well as in direct sunlight. The "Auto-Off" function (the tuner switches off automatically after a few minutes) considerably extends the life of the CR2032 battery supplied. The latest version of the highly acclaimed and precise D'Addario Headstock Tuner software, allows calibration between 410 Hz and 480 Hz.
