The CS-25 by Salvador Cortez is a true beauty, featuring a solid spruce top combined with back and sides made of mutenye. The appearance of mutenye is very similar to bubinga wood and it is CITES-free. Its light response and excellent playability make the CS-25 an ideal student guitar, widely recognized and recommended by many teachers. This Salvador Cortez guitar delivers a round, clear, and powerful tone and is finished with a high-quality, durable polyurethane gloss finish.
This guitar is also available as the CC-25 with a solid cedar top. The concert guitar belongs to the category of classical guitars with nylon strings, which are easier to play for beginners compared to the steel strings used on western or folk guitars.
The solid cedar top provides an open, quick response and a slightly percussive tone, which is often the reason beginners choose cedar. Thanks to the two-way truss rod, the string action and playability can be adjusted at any time. Your local dealer can easily adjust the truss rod during regular maintenance or string changes within minutes to ensure optimal string action.
