The Kingman™ bass develops a dreamy, crisp and warm acoustic tone. We have reinforced the solid spruce top with X-bracing, while the sides and back are made of Sapele. Its medium-sized auditorium body is pleasantly relaxed to play, and thanks to the cutaway, even the highest positions on the fingerboard are easy to reach. The bound Nato neck with 30" scale is also a pleasure for the fretting hand with its slim Jazz Bass® C profile and only 1.5" nut width. We also use the headstock with 4 row tuners on our Fender electric basses. Other details: vintage-style open tuners for precise, effortless tuning, GraphTech® NuBone® nut and bridge inlay for an earthy, rich sound. The built-in Fishman® Flex preamp amplifies the natural acoustic bass tone and brings it across unadulterated live or in studio recordings. A deluxe gig bag is included.
