Our Store

We are a Music store specialized in Electric and Acoustic Guitars and Basses, Amplifier, Effects and every Attachment for Guitarist and Bassists. And if your Guitar is broken, we repair it as well.

Matthias Jabs, Lead-Guitarist of the Scorpions, founded the guitar store in the Pariser Straße, Munich in March 2008. His initials gave the store its name, MJ stands for Matthias Jabs. On tour he is searching for well aged Vintage-Guitars all over the world and buys them for his store.

We offer a large variety of new guitars starting at a low price level, but we also sell high priced custom shop instruments. Used and rare vintage instruments can be bought as well as top Vintage Instruments, all for a reasonable price. The store in the Pariser Strasse 32 consists of the main showroom, a room just for amps, another room for bass guitars and bass amplifier and the Vintage Lounge which offers you the possibility to play an acoustic guitar in a quiet environment. We try to ensure the high quality of all the products we offer. We are selling cables, strings, effects, straps, cases, gig bags etc. just from those manufacturers who have proven their top quality over the years.

You are welcome to offer us your old instruments for sale.

Please write us an email to shop@mjguitars.de with meaningful pictures. At best a photo of the guitar from the front all the way and from the back all. And a photo of the bag or suitcase that is with the guitar. Please include the full name of the instrument and the serial number.

Interesting brands for us would be for example: Fender, Gibson, ESP, LTD, Jackson, Martin or similar. In the end, of course, we must have seen the instruments on the ground. We need a witness statement from you when the guitar or bass has a dark rosewood fretboard. You will receive a form of witness statement on request from us by email in Word format.
