1956 was the only complete production year in which this legendary solid body was equipped with both the unadulterated power of two P-90 pickups and an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge. The ABR-1 is built directly into the solid mahogany body and provides impressive sustain, rich tones and a precise balance of intonation and feel. This - coupled with the piercing tone of the single-coil pickups, the massive 50s Rounded C neck profile, the iconic goldtop style and the special wiring - gives this carefully crafted reissue the ability and power to hit exactly the same sonic and visual sweet spot as the original.
