A 1950s-inspired J-45
Lovingly and meticulously crafted by hand in Montana. This 50s Original model features the golden-era construction and style that made the "Workhorse" a favorite for generations: a perfectly playable round 50s neck with classic mother-of-pearl dots, a rosewood fingerboard with a rounded edge, a subtly arched Sitka spruce top, exquisite mahogany back and sides, and traditional hand-finished X-bracing. This setup ensures sweet, mellow and warm tones that have made this guitar the preferred working instrument of various songwriters for decades. The multi-ply top and single-ply back have been subtly patinated, just like the iconic originals. The LR Baggs® VTC pickup captures the authentic tone when the guitar is amplified - and remains essentially invisible when not in use.
