Spruce top, solid rosewood body, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. Rosewood bridge, bone bridge inlay and saddle. Ecological finish of waxes and oils. Nut width 52 mm, scale length 650 mm. Active pickup system by Mi-Si®.
Body made of solid rosewood, top made of selected, close-grained German solid spruce. Ebony fingerboard with 52 mm nut width. The satin Höfner Green Line finish brings out the rich colors of the selected tonewoods and guarantees perfect playability of the neck. The filigree wood inlays and the open-pored and resonant surface are a testament to our many years of traditional craftsmanship. The HM89 is available with a reduced scale length of 63cm (HM89-S-0). The special bracing design of the cutaway model (CE) provides a sound volume that has never been achieved in this form before. Electronics: The cutaway version features the built-in Höfner / Mi-Si® active pickup system. All versions of the HM89 come with a Höfner deluxe case.
