NUX SIXTYFIVE-OD Overdrive

The year 1965 is a particularly good vintage when it comes to guitar sounds. Connoisseurs know here especially about the so-called "Magic-6-Sound". Exactly according to these specifications, the NUX 6ixty5ive from the popular Reissue series is designed. The pedal in noble brown-glitter finish thus delivers the equally powerful and bell-like sounds of the classic black-panel tube amps of the 60s.

This makes the 6ixty5ive an easy-to-use, glassy overdrive that retains the guitar's characteristics of pleasant sustain and extremely natural compression. The degree of compression/saturation can be fully customized in the process via a trim pot on the front panel. The guitar tone is freshened up by the pedal and the string attacks come across with a lively smack - thanks to the JRC4558 op-amp and some clever circuitry. In addition, the 6ixty5ive adds a well-dosed basic distortion to the sound, which can be perfectly combined with other pedals.

The NUX '6ixty5ive was inspired by a legendary overdrive from a boutique pedal shop in Tokyo.
