The first instruments that went by the name of Squier we released in 1982. We wanted to offer real Fender® design at affordable prices for beginners. 40 years later, the entry-level brand is still going strong. We're celebrating - with the Squier 40th Anniversary Collection. It includes Special Edition versions of the Telecaster®, Stratocaster®, Jazzmaster®, Precision Bass® and Jazz Bass® models. All are available in Gold Edition and Vintage Edition. The Squier® 40th Anniversary Precision Bass® Vintage Edition has plenty of retro vibe and personality. A tribute model with classic features that not only Squier fans will appreciate. Aged-look chrome hardware, anodized aluminum pickguard, maple neck with vintage toning, engraved anniversary neckplate, satin finish on neck and body - this P Bass® is a declaration of love to Squier history with its many previous model generations. The slim C-profile neck plays light and relaxed. Vintage-style tuners and a bridge with four string riders are other authentic details. A Fender-designed Alnico 5 split single-coil delivers the famous warm growly P Bass tone.
